On April 1, 2007, Alanis Morissette released a spoof cover of The Black Eyed Peas song, My Humps. Later that same month, Fergie showed her appreciation of Alanis’ version, by sending Alanis a cake in the shape of a butt and included a note saying she was a “genius”.
The Black Eyed Peas won the MTV Video Music Award for “Best Hip-Hop Video” with their song My Humps (2006).
The Black Eyed Peas song “My Humps” was nominated for the MTV Video Music Award “Best Ringtone of the Year” (2006).
The song “Hey Mama” played in a commercial for the iPod, but also in the movies Along Came Polly and Garfield.
