People who frequently watch music videos will notice the varying types of presentation that each video has. Here are some of them.
1. Music videos that tell a story. They present a plot that aptly communicates the message that each song has. There are times when the story does not have anything to do with the song.
2. Animated music videos, which is the type that bands such as Gorillaz and Daft Funk used. This type of presentation is applicable for artists who do not want to see themselves on their own music videos for reasons that only they know.
3. Music videos that do not tell a story and merely shows the artist/artists singing their songs sans the microphone. Solo artists usually have dancers performing in the background. Bands and similar groups sometimes appear side by side and perform as if they are before an audience.
