The widespread popularity of Youtube meant that people can now upload not just their favorite personal videos but also music videos from the artists they love. This could be music videos from popular artists or even old, obscure videos they have saved and just want to share with other Youtube visitors
But, unfortunately, with copyright laws being cited by record companies, even music videos are being flagged in Youtube. I just don’t get this practice. A music video is basically a marketing material for the artist. How can you promote the artist’s music if something as harmless as a music video is also fiercely protected by these companies?
